BSNL has awarded a five-year Rs 3.09 billion supply contract to Prithvi Information Solutions.

BSNL has awarded a five-year Rs 3.09 billion supply contract to Prithvi Information Solutions. Under the contract, Prithvi will supply transmission equipment which will enable the state-owned telecom service provider to increase its network bandwidth.

Prithvi has tied up with Huawei Technologies to source the equipment and is customising it for BSNL. Prithvi will also be responsible for embedding the networking maintenance software, assembling and quality check.
