With the launch of fitness devices, HealthYu and YuFit, smartphone maker, Micromax has ventured into wearables and fitness monitoring market through its fully-owned subsidiary Yu Televentures.
‘HealthYu’, is a pocket sized device that offers critical medical checkups making the device as one’s personal medical assistant. The HealthYu helps monitor blood pressure, body temperature, oxygen level, heart rate, respiration rate and electrocardiogram in real time. This data can be saved and if required shared with doctors. Meanwhile, YuFit is a device which exclusively supports HealthyfiMe application and tracks the food records of the users and help them stay fit. HealthYu and YuFit are priced at Rs 999 and Rs 4,999, respectively.
