Vodafone India has expanded its mobile network in Arunachal Pradesh. Following the expansion, the operator has extended telecom coverage to Daporijo in Upper Subansiri district, and Aalong and Basar in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

With the expansion of its telecom network, Vodafone India now covers about 385 towns and villages, and more than 27 per cent of the population in the state. Earlier, Vodafone India had expanded its telecom footprint to cover Zero Point, Bomdila, Rupa and Tenga in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh.

In the Assam and North East circles, Vodafone India operates in seven states including Arunachal Pradesh covering more than 18,540 towns and villages. The operator has a subscriber base of 4.5 million in Assam and North East.
