
Bharti Airtel has extended its broadband presence in Arunachal Pradesh. The telecom operator launched its 2G services on prepaid in Bomdila, Jameri, Zero Point and Tenga Valley in the state. With the service launch, Airtel has become the first private telecom operator to bring connectivity in these regions.
The operator believes that the network deployment will facilitate communication and tourism in these regions.
Earlier, Airtel connected the extreme areas on its network coverage map of the nation including Kargil, Leh and Ladakh.
