Bharti Airtel has launched its “myPlan for Business” plan for its corporate customers in India. The plan is aimed at enabling its business customers to efficiently utilise their bill plan benefits. With this plan, the customers will be able to balance the whole portfolio of services including data, ISD and roaming.

The sectors that are likely to adopt this new plan are Banking, IT/ITES, manufacturing and media. The company is of the view that its ?myPlan for Business? would help in improving its postpaid average revenue per user (ARPU), which stood at Rs 202 for the quarter ended June 2014.

Airtel is also opening centers dedicated to its corporate customers. It has already established one center in Bangalore and is currently in the process of setting up another such centre in the country.

Airtel has contended that its overall postpaid subscriber base has been improving since the launch of myPlan in October 2013. Its postpaid customer base increased from 4.7 per cent of the total customer base in the quarter ended December 2013 to 5.1 per cent in the quarter ended June 2014.
