The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has proposed to design an internal working group to supervise the upcoming auctions of February 2014. The proposal will sidestep the inter-ministerial panel that oversaw the last four spectrum auctions.
The group will consist of directors from the various departments of DoT. Also some representations from Department of Electronics and IT and the Ministry of Finance are likely to be included in the group.
