Aircel has launched 3G services in Itanagar and Naharlagun in Aurunachal Pradesh. The move is in line with the company?s strategy to increase 3G penetration in the northeastern region. Aircel subscribers will be able to avail of these services on their mobile phones or Aircel 3G dongles. The company is offering a wide range of 3G plans, starting from Rs 8.
Aircel has also launched a new offer ‘3G Good Morning’ where its subscribers can browse up to 100 MB with 3G data speed daily between 4am to 8 am. Further for its high data usage customers, the company is offering a dongle plan with 4GB data usage at Rs 1,495.
Aircel has registered high 3G growth in the northeast circle as its 3G subscriber base grew by 37 percent while its 3G data revenue increased by 200 per cent in 2013.
