Idea Cellular increases rentals for post-paid mobile users by Rs 50

Idea Cellular has increased the monthly rentals for its post-paid mobile customers by Rs 50 beginning June 2014.

As of March 31, 2014, post-paid subscribers accounted for four per cent of the operator?s total subscriber base of 137.9 million.

The operator?s move to increase monthly rentals has followed similar moves by its competitors such as Bharti Airtel and Vodafone India which scaled down discount offers for various offerings including mobile internet usage.
