BlackBerry has introduced the Q5 smartphone in the Indian market, which functions on the BlackBerry 10 operating system.The device priced at Rs 24,990 packs in a 3.1 inch screen, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Q5 is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and supports dual cameras (a 2 megapixel front facing camera and a 5 megapixel rear camera).
It also supports technologies like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Near Field Communications.
Commenting on the launch, Sunil Lalvani, managing director, India, BlackBerry said, ?The BlackBerry Q5 smartphone has a stunning youthful design that comes in exciting colours, and offers the full cutting-edge BlackBerry 10 functionality as well as access to the growing catalogue of BlackBerry 10 applications.
