Bharti Airtel issued a $3.35 billion guarantee to Bharti Airtel Netherlands in April 2013

Bharti Airtel reportedly issued a $3.35 billion guarantee to its holding company, Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) B.V. in April this year.

The telecom major manages its operations in Africa through this holding company. Zain Africa?s entire stake was transferred to Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) B.V. in March 2010 for $9 billion.
