Tata Communications Limited has posted its results for the third quarter and nine months of financial year 2013.

The company’s consolidated gross revenues increased by 23 per cent from Rs 36,041 in the third quarter of financial year 2012 to Rs 44,341 million in the corresponding period this year. Its core business revenues registered a 25 per cent growth from the third quarter of financial year 2012 to Rs. 39,532 million for the quarter under review.

The total voice minutes carried during the quarter stood at 15.6 billion in comparison to 13.4 billion minutes in the same period last year. During the quarter under review, the company earned revenue worth Rs 17,389 million from global data services as compared to revenues of Rs 14,375 million during the previous quarter in 2012.

Tata Communications’ start-up business, Neotel registered a 9 per cent revenue growth at 4,810 million. The EBITDA margins in the startup business stood at 10.3 per cent in the third quarter of 2013, compared to 2.9 per cent in the corresponding period of 2012.
