Nokia has introduced its Windows-based smartphone, Lumia 920 and 820. Both the smartphones use Windows 8 software.

The Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch screen and an 8.7 megapixel camera with a floating lens which uses software for image stabilisation. The smartphone is available in five colours – yellow, red, grey, white and black.

The Nokia Lumia 820 has a 4.3 inch screen and an 8-megapixel camera. The Nokia Lumia 820 is available in red, yellow, grey, cyan, purple, white and black colours.

Both the models will support pentaband long term evolution (LTE) and the high speed packet access plus (HSPA+) variants.

Nokia will begin the process of shipping these handsets to global markets over the next few months.
