Idea Cellular’s financials have been cleared by its special auditors Chhajed & Doshi. However, of the earlier proposed liability of Rs 740 million, it may still be required to pay Rs 260 million to the government. This is on account of lack of clarity on issues relating to revenue sharing by operators with regard to income from insurance claims, unrealised exchange gains and interest income from subsidiaries.
