PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) has selected PT Teknologi Riset Global (TRG), a subsidiary of the Indonesian Tower Group (an Indonesian tower developer), to supply it with a nation al Wi-Max solution in the 3.3 GHz band.

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) has selected PT Teknologi Riset Global (TRG), a subsidiary of the Indonesian Tower Group (an Indonesian tower developer), to supply it with a national Wi-Max solution in the 3.3 GHz band. The move follows a government order asking operators to migrate from the 3.5 GHz band to the 3.3 GHz band. Telkom has already deployed TRG’s Wi-Max solution in four regions –? West Java, Jakarta, Sumatra Island and Kalimantan Island.
