AT &T is planning to invest an amount of $1 billion in 2009 to continue building its global network while driving new telecom services and network-based applications for businesses. The company has stated that its investment will be focused on network infrastructure, services and support for companies requiring “anytime, anywhere” access to the systems, suppliers, customers and employees. With this, AT&T has invested more than $3 billion since 2006 on business-focused networks, systems and applications.
