Norwegian operator Telenor has hired Deutsche Bank to advise it on alternatives to a planned rights issue as it seeks funds for buying 60 per cent stake in Unitech Wireless. Telenor had earlier planned to launch a $1.72 billion rights issue but the announcement triggered a sharp fall (26 per cent) in Telenor shares.
