Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has signed a network expansion deal with Bangladesh’s state-owned mobile operator, Teletalk Bangladesh.

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has signed a network expansion deal with Bangladesh’s state-owned mobile operator, Teletalk Bangladesh. Under the terms of the deal, NSN will expand Teletalk’s GSM mobile telephone network, particularly in the capital Dhaka. In addition, NSN will enhance Teletalk’s existing network coverage and provide mobile customers with advanced wireless services. This will be done through the modernisation of Teletalk’s core network including mobile softswitching, packet core and home location register. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
