NSN has been awarded a 3G radio network and integration contract from Mobile Broadband Network Limited (MBNL), a network infrastructure JV between T-Mobile UK and 3 UK, for an undisclosed amount.

NSN has been awarded a 3G radio network and integration contract from Mobile Broadband Network Limited (MBNL), a network infrastructure JV between T-Mobile UK and 3 UK, for an undisclosed amount. In addition, NSN will provide project management, network deployment, managed spare parts capability as well as care services to maintain network performance, to MBNL. The company will provide its multi-operator radio access network, including flexi-base stations, to reduce the number of sites in the network by about 30 per cent. This will consume 70 per cent less power than traditional 3G equipment.
