The Vodafone Group has completed the purchase of a 70 per cent stake in Ghana’s state-owned telecom company Ghana Telecom.

The Vodafone Group has completed the purchase of a 70 per cent stake in Ghana’s state-owned telecom company Ghana Telecom.

The completion of the $900 million acquisition follows approval of the transaction by Ghana’s Parliament. The government will retain a 30 per cent holding in the firm.
