DoT has decided to hold a second round of 3G auctions by mid-2009 for service providers who are unable to participate in the first round. The highest bid in the first round will be the reserve price in the second round. The circles for which the second round of 3G auction is likely to take place include Bihar, Maharashtra, Punjab, West Bengal, Delhi, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh (West), the Northeast and Rajasthan.
