Motorola has received orders worth $70 million from Celtel Nigeria to expand the operator’s GSM coverage in the southern part of Nigeria. As part of the contract, Motorola will deploy its Motorola Reach GSM solution, including EDGE capability for mobile data. Motorola will also provide network expansion planning, integration, support and optimisation services to Celtel.
