Ericsson has been selected by Algerie Telecom as the supplier and systems integrator for the latter’s network upgradation.

Ericsson has been selected by Algerie Telecom as the supplier and systems integrator for the latter’s network upgradation. As per the agreement, Ericsson will supply its telephony softswitch solution, enabling Algerie Telecom to migrate to an all-IP network.

Ericsson will also be responsible for network deployment, support and training services. The migration to an IP network is set to be completed by mid-2008.
