Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has signed a digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM) supply contract with China Telecom’s subsidiary Hunan Telecom. According to the contract, NSN, which already provides DSL access solutions in seven cities in Hunan, will cater to two more cities in the province, helping Hunan Telecom increase its network capacity and prepare for VDSL2 deployment. NSN-supplied DSL access will be provided to over 1 million end-users in nine cities throughout Hunan.
