BSNL will soon launch internet protocol television (IP-TV) services in cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Kolkata, following its successful launch in Pune. The company is also gearing up to expand its broadband customer base. It aims to release 3.3 million and 2 million broadband connections in the urban and rural areas respectively by July 2007.
