Ericsson is likely to acquire Norwegian digital TV broadcast systems manufacturer Tandberg Television. The acquisition, which will help Ericsson become a leader in IPTV, is nearly complete with over 90 per cent of Tandberg’s shareholders approving and accepting Ericsson’s bid.
