Sony Ericsson has reported net income for 2005 at 356 million euro S ($431 million), compared to 316 million euro in 2004. Sales increased from 6.5 billion euro a year ago to 7.26 billion euro. In the fourth quarter of 2005, Sony Ericsson shipped a record 16.1 million handsets, compared to 12.6 million in the corresponding quarter of 2004.
