Aircel and Spice Telecom have dissociated themselves from COAI’s petition with TDSAT challenging DoT’s approval for use of dual technology. According to Spice, its only concern now is issuance of LoIs in respect of its application submitted in August 2006 for 20 circles. Similarly, Aircel has exited the case since it is waiting for spectrum in 13 circles and opposing DoT in court could jeopardise its chances of receiving spectrum.
