BSNL is in talks with Alcatel to bundle its GSM phone connections with Alcatel handsets. If the deal goes through, it will be the first-ever deal entered into by BSNL to bundle its services with a handset. BSNL is already a customer of Alcatel’s landline and mobile switching equipment. It has ordered 4 million lines over the next six to nine months.
