
Telecom equipment manufacturer, Huawei has posted its half yearly revenue for the year 2015. For the first half of 2015, the company has reported revenue of $28 billion, witnessing a growth of 30 per cent as compared to corresponding period in 2014.
Huawei?s first half sales growth in 2015 has been driven by the company?s encouraging performance in enterprise business, consumer business and carrier segments. However, while declaring its half yearly revenues, Huawei has not shared the break-up of revenues and regional performance.
For the period under review, Huawei claims that its enterprise business has started to experience accelerated growth on the back of innovative products and solutions. To boost its revenues, the vendor is focusing on cloud computing, storage, agile network, and other products and solutions for verticals such as smart city, finance, education, and internet service markets in China and abroad.
Huawei has also reported that its mid-range and high-end smartphones such as Mate7 and P8, as well as Honor smartphones have been received well in telecom markets across the globe.
