Alcatel-Lucent has reported revenue worth ?3,930 million for the fourth quarter ended December, 2013. In comparison, the telecom vendor had reported revenue worth ?4,096 million in the corresponding period in 2012.
Further, for the full year, the company?s revenues declined from ?14,449 million in 2012 to ?14,436 million in 2013. The company?s net loss for the year 2013 stood at ?1,304 million as against a net loss of ?2,011 million in 2012.
In addition, Alcatel Lucent?s revenues from its core networking and access business witnessed a year-on-year growth of 0.4 per cent. Further, the revenues in North America and Asia Pacific grew by 2 per cent and 10 per cent respectively. The company also witnessed significant growth in Western Europe and Russia. However, Alcatel-Lucent?s performance in the rest of the global markets continued to decline.
