AGC Networks, a subsidiary of Essar Group firm Aegis, has acquired a part of the US-based Transcend United Technologies? business.
The acquisition involves businesses comprising data centre infrastructure and managed services. The acquisition will offer AGC Networks a wide footprint in North America.
Transcend United Technologies is a solution provider and technology integrator. It has 130 employees on-board and has annual revenues of about $43 million. The company has offices across east coast, mid-west and central US.
Earlier, Aegis had acquired a majority stake in the Delhi-based AGC Networks (formerly Avaya GlobalConnect) in 2010 from the US-based enterprise networking solutions firm Avaya for $44.5 million.
