Comviva has appointed Arnaud Azilinon as head of Francophone West and the Central Africa region. At Comviva, Azilinon will be responsible for sales, regional key account management, technical account management and solution sales.
He will be based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and will provide strategic direction and operational focus to expand the company?s business in the region.
Commenting on the appointment, Manoranjan Mohapatra, CEO, Comviva said, ?We are pleased to welcome Azilinon to the Comviva family. With his rich experience and in-depth understanding of Francophone Africa, we are positive that he will successfully drive our operations. His regional insight would set the stage for success in this important geography, that contributes to our business and has nascent demand characterised by low penetration and high growth in the mobile sector.?

Prior to this he spent almost 10 years in various marketing and management roles as part of Atlantique Group and was mostly based in Abidjan with brief period in Johannesburg.
