Mihir Modi, chief finance officer (CFO) of Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL), has resigned with effect from October 14, 2022. Citing reason, Modi noted that he wants to pursue career opportunities outside the organisation. Meanwhile, as per a regulatory filing, STL is in the process of appointing a new CFO and the same will be intimated to the exchanges in due course.
Modi is a professional with over 20 years of career spanning finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategy and general management, across large-scale listed companies and early-stage start-ups in India, Europe and Africa. Before joining STL, he worked with Zee, Ernst & Young (EY), Novartis Pharma in Europe and Godrej Consumer Products.
