Micromax has launched the Micromax Sliver 5 smartphone at Rs 17,999 in the Indian market. According to the company, it is the lightest and the slimmest phone in the world, with an end-to-end thickness of 5.1 mm.
The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 2GB RAM. It features a 4.8 inch 720p AMOLED screen and an 8 megapixel autofocus rear camera with Sony IMX219 sensor and a Blue Glass filter. The device is 4G enabled and comes with a bundled data pack from Bharti Airtel. It is powered by 2000 mAH battery and has 16 GB of internal storage.
The company also offers a new service policy for the smartphone. To get the Sliver 5 smartphone serviced, users can lodge a complaint online or make a call to the support centre. The device will be collected from the user?s home and will be delivered back within seven days.
