Xiaomi has introduced the Mi 4i smartphone which supports long term evolution (LTE) technology in India at Rs 12,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
The Mi 4i features a 5 inch full HD screen with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and pixels density of 441 PPI. The smartphone is Xiaomi?s first MIUI 6 device which runs on the Android Lollipop operating system. The MIUI 6 interface supports six Indian languages ? Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil.
The Mi 4i is powered by a 1.7 GHz processor along with four power 1.1 GHz saving cores which are supported by second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor. The smartphone offers 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It supports dual SIM cards and cameras ? a 13 megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone flash and a 5 megapixels front camera with an 80 degree wide angle lens.
For connectivity, Mi 4i supports technologies such as 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, 802.11ac, GPS/Glonass, Wi-Fi Direct and USB on-the-go.
