Ahead of its services launch, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has put in place a paperless subscriber verification process linked to Aadhaar card.
The newly introduced paperless subscriber process is expected to help RJIL speed up the verification process of potential subscribers and avoid incidents related to submission of forged identification papers.
At present, the operator is in talks with various states and local authorities to provide Wi-Fi services. RJIL plans to provide 4G services using spectrum in 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2300 MHz bands.
