Videocon Telecom, the telecom arm of the Indian conglomerate Videocon Group has decided to offer increments of up to 38 its employees in the current financial year, with the average fixed raise being 11 per cent and the remaining coming in the form of bonus which will be in addition to the performance linked incentive (PLI). Videocon Telecom employees have the opportunity to earn up to 12 month?s basic and minimum 3 month?s basic salary as bonus.
Videocon Telecom expects the increment structure to help build up an inherent performance culture in the organisation, and encourage employees to give in their best to attain best in class increments. Today when employees are considered the life-blood of any organisation, a favorable increment helps preserve focused talent, and motivates employee retention thus creating an inherent Human Resource value system for the organisation.
The young telco which made its comeback into the telecom space earlier last year has a total employee strength of over 1300 employees across its four operational circles and Corporate office, and is strategically hiring professionals for its growing business operations including rollout of 2G services in 3 circles (UP-E, UP-W and Bihar/Jharkhand); and rollout of 4G services. The telco also has plans to go to top Business Schools and Engineering Colleges including IIMs, ISB, S.P. We are pleased to announce market leading pay raises for our employees and we are sure it will go long way in our success in the times to come. We obviously are looking at hiring and engaging the best talent and professionals across industries and would want to infuse some fresh blood into our organization. Unlike other telcos, we are hiring, and hiring quite aggressively and strategically. We have lots in hand including rollout of 2G services in 3 circles including UP-E, UP-W and Bihar/Jharkhand and 4G services rollout, and we need the best professionals to meet these organisational goals.?
