
India?s leading telecom operator, Vodafone India showcased its state-of-the-art Super Network Operating Centre (SNOC) and Super Network Experience Centre (SNEC) in Pune.
Spread over 40,000 square feet, the SNOC has beendesigned to be the operational hub of the operator. It monitors and helps resolve network related issues across22 circles in real time,on both proactive and reactive basis. Some of the operational benefits accrued from establishing the SNOC include, 20 per cent gain in efficiency; 46 per cent reduction in data customer complaints over the previous year and overall 38 per cent reduction in mean time to restore network faults in key regions.

SNEC, meanwhile is an engagement platform designed for enterprise customers. Spread over 2500 square feet area, it has on display the complete suite of communication solutions offered by Vodafone Business Services (VBS), including enterprise mobility offering and machine-to-machine solutions.

For Vodafone India, 100 per cent subsidiary of Vodafone Group Plc, investment in SNOC and SNEC makes sense as it gears for the next level of growth. While SNOC will help the operator track and resolve network concerns with more efficiency thereby improve the overall quality of service significantly, SNEC is part of the operators endeavour to step up its enterprise business, which has already grown considerably in the past four years.
