Following the launch of 4G services for subscribers on mobile phones in Bengaluru and Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula, Bharti Airtel has now extended similar facility for its users in Kolkata. Earlier, subscribers in all these markets could access 4G services through dongles.
In Kolkata, users can access 4G services on devices including iPhone 5S, 5C, LG G2 and Xolo LT 900. While Bharti Airtel will offer data browsing to users on its 4G network, the operator will route all voice calls on its 2G network.
Subscribers can access 4G services on their mobile phones by upgrading to a 4G SIM card and availing a 4G data plan.
