Intex Technologies India Limited has launched the ultra-low cost smartphone, Intex Cloud FX, at a price of Rs 1,999. The smartphone has been launched in association with Mozilla, an international software community.
The 3.5 inch HVGA capacitive touch display phone is powered by a 1 GHz Spreadtrum 6821 processor coupled with 128 MB of RAM. In addition to 46 MB of internal storage, the phone features a micro SD card slot to support an external memory up to 4 GB. The Intex Cloud FX runs on firefox operating system but does not support 3G connectivity. It has connectivity options like GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, micro USB and Bluetooth along with a 2 MP primary camera.
The phone will be initially available only on Snapdeal.com.
