Apple has introduced the iTunes store and iTunes Match service in India. With the launch of iTunes store, users in the country will be able to buy local and international music and movies from the store.
The iTunes store features bollywood, Tamil film songs and international music from major labels. Apple has priced single songs between Rs 7 and Rs 15 and albums are available at a starting price of Rs 70.
The iTunes Match service, on the other hand, allows users to store music, bought from sources other than iTunes, in the cloud. This service is priced at Rs 1,200 per year. Until now, Apple?s Indian iTunes store featured only select free books and podcasts.
