Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a scheme that enables subscribers to make unlimited free calls, for a fixed monthly charge, from their fixed line connections to landline and mobile numbers within BSNL?s network.
The operator has introduced various unlimited calling plans for different areas. In the urban areas that come under the secondary switching area criteria (SSAs), two plans, the UL-450 and the UL-600 have been launched. The UL-450 plan entails Rs 450 as monthly rental and enables the user to make unlimited free calls to any BSNL fixed line number across in the country.
The UL-600 plan entails a monthly rental of Rs 600 and the user can make unlimited free calls to any BSNL fixed line and mobile number. Calls made to other networks are priced at Re 1 per minute.
In these areas, subscribers currently using the operator?s Broadband Combo plans can opt for either the AO-325 or the AO-475 plans. The former entails monthly rental of Rs 325 and the latter, Rs 475.
Subscribers in SSAs with exchange capacity of less than 0.1 million lines can avail of two new plans, the UL-350 and the UL-500. Monthly rental under the former is Rs 350 and Rs 500 under the latter. These plans permit users to make unlimited free calls to BSNL?s fixed lines and to both fixed and mobile numbers respectively.
Meanwhile, two new plans have been introduced for customers availing of the Broadband Combo plans in these areas. The AO-250 plan entails monthly rental of Rs 225 and the AO-375 plan comes with a monthly rental of Rs 375.
