Vodafone Group has appointed former SAP executive Marika Auramo as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Vodafone Business.
Auramo has over 25 years of experience in information technology (IT) industry, and will take over from Giorgio Migliarina, who has successfully led Vodafone Business as interim CEO.
Auramo was CEO for Europe, Middle east, and Africa (EMEA) region at SAP and was responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy for SAP’s product portfolio across 89 countries and for managing 14,000 employees.
She also held senior leadership positions at SAP including chief operating officer (COO) EMEA north, managing director for Nordic and Baltic region, global COO of SAP Database and Data Management in United States of America (USA), and interim president of EMEA region
