ZTE India appoints Xu Dejun as chief executive officer

ZTE India has appointed Xu Dejun as the chief executive officer of the company.

Dejun will focus on the company?s enterprise business, terminals and the smartphone business. In 2013, ZTE is looking at increasing its revenue from the sale of smartphones to 30 per cent.

Dejun joined ZTE in 2001 and was based out of the company?s headquarters in Shenzhen, China, before moving to India in 2005. At ZTE, he has worked in senior roles like head, international projects, ZTE Africa and head, technical sales, ZTE India. He has also served as president of ZTE India?s Indian Engineering Service Center in the past. Dejun has expertise in international projects and business development and marketing.
