ZTE Corporation is planning to invest about $875 million in building a new research and production base in the central Chinese city of Xian. The new facility would focus on developing and producing next-generation mobile communication devices and software.
China’s second biggest telecommunications equipment maker has stated that the project would take about eight years to complete.
