
ZTE Corporation has won a GSM network contract from Pakistanbased telecom firm CMPak (formerly Paktel), a unit of China Mobile. The contract includes the construction of 14,000 carriers for CMPak’s radio network and 10 million lines for the core network. The core network will be entirely based on IP technology. According to the agreement, ZTE will also provide its next-generation V3 base stations to CMPak.
