China-based telecom equipment vendor ZTE Corporation has appointed Yin Yimin as its chairman. He will replace Zhao Xianming, who will continue to hold the position of executive director and president. This move follows the company’s decision to separate the two roles. Prior to this, Yimin had worked as chairman of ZTE Holdings, the controlling shareholder of ZTE Corporation, and president, ZTE Corporation.
