Zambian mobile operator MTN Zambia is planning to invest $25 million in upgradation and expansion projects in 2010. The company intends to cover the whole country by August 2010. MTN Zambia, which had 1.17 million subscribers as of end-2009, expects to increase its subscriber base to 1.5 million by December 2010.
