Yotta Infrastructure, a 100 per cent subsidiary of the Hiranandani Group, has laid the foundation stone of its data centre park in Delhi-NCR. The company plans to set-up a 20-acre hyper scale data centre park in the Greater Noida region, which will consist of 6 interconnected data centre buildings offering 30,000 racks capacity and 200 MW of power. It will be set up at an estimated cost of Rs 60-70 billion and the construction will commence in December 2020. The first centre is expected to be operational before July 2022.
Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh virtually laid the foundation stone. Satish Mahana, Cabinet Minister of Industrial Development and Government of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, Founder & Chairman – Hiranandani Group and Darshan Hiranandani, Group CEO – Hiranandani Group also attended the ceremony over a video call.
Addressing the audience, Sunil Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of Yotta Infrastructure, showcased the entire project to the attendees, and talked about the scale and technicalities of the Noida data center.
