Xolo is targeting increasing its revenues to $1 billion by end-2016. The company is looking forward to improving its share in the Indian smartphone market by introducing devices with an enhanced proprietary user interface (UI).

In this regard, it has earmarked capital of around Rs 150 million in 2015 to develop Hive, its in-house UI. Along with this, the company intends to employ more than 100 engineers to expand mobile value-added services (VAS) through Hive.

Xolo is also expecting revenues worth Rs 20 billion, which would be around one-third of the estimated turnover of its parent company, Lava International.
